Saquon Barkley, Stephen Colbert, Danny DeVito, Whoopi Goldberg, Chelsea Handler, Kelly Ripa, Chris Rock and Jon Stewart shared messages of support.The hour also featured testimonials of those affected by the outbreak, including Dr. Steve Brunnquell of Maplewood; Caroline O'Toole, manager of the Stone Pony in Asbury Park; and Marilyn Schlossbach, a Jersey Shore restaurateur.The New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund was founded March 24 to marshal resources to meet critical needs and fight the economic and social impact of COVID-19 within New Jersey, according to the group.Joel Gallen, who recently produced the iHeart Living Room Concert Benefit for Fox, was the executive producer and Jon Landau, who is Springsteen's manager; Irving Azoff, Bon Jovi's manager; and Joel Peresman, president and CEO of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Foundation, were producers of Jersey 4 Jersey.Production costs related to the broadcast were covered by a “single generous donation to the fund,” according to the NJPRF.“I was honored to work with First Lady Tammy Murphy, Jon Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen and everyone who contributed to this show,” Gallen said.
